Parent-Child Dedication

We had Benjamin's dedication at Johnson Ferry and it was a special day!! After all the trials that we went through trying to have a baby, we were so thankful to ceremonially give Benjamin back to the Lord. One of the MANY lessons that I have learned (and am still learning) the past 2 years is that God is the the giver of life. God chose to give Benjamin to us, this baby at this time, and that gift is not for us to take lightly. Our job is teach him how to live a life that is pleasing to Him and one day - hopefully at a young age - Benjamin will choose to give His life to the Lord. "For I know the plans for you declares the Lord, to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

My only regret from the day is not getting many pictures - here are the few that we took...

  1. Sweet and true, dear Katie. What a joy to celebrate the gift that Benjamin is to you and Seung Hwan - and to our whole family. Even as my heart broke, so now it sings.

    Love,
    Aunt Marty
